While traditional sushi rice gets seasoned with quite a
bit of sugar, I went easy on sugar

sweet potatoes are sufficiently
sweet themselves and it is this natural sweetness that provides such a delectable contrast with salty soy sauce, spicy wasabi and ginger.

Endive is a little bitter, yes, but that bitterness is offset
here by the segments of

bites of creamy avocado.
After parading five hundred tons of

bit healthier — but it had to be good, because food that tastes like cardboard is definitely not allowed on this blog.
Here in England it is often accompanied with some cooked fruit - rhubarb is my favourite -

Here, the
sweet potato adds a little sweetness that pairs well with the heat of the Sriracha and
bite of the onion.
For instance, red lentils are thinner since they are split after harvest so they cook very quickly; they're actually my favorite lentil since they are a
bit sweeter but not what I used
here.
Since this is a
bit on the
sweeter side (thanks to a lot of dates), I'd save this one for after an intense workout (try my stability ball workout
here), which is the best time to eating / drinking anything
sweet.
The dough is similar to that of bread: flour, yeast, almond milk and a
bit of coconut oil, and you simply top it with fruit, but you normally only see it with plums, or damsons, a special and very

bit more kosher salt, I really love the salt and
sweet combination
