I used the enjoy
semi sweet chips which are soy free dairy free but still does have sugar but now I know they would also be delicious without the chocolate.
I subbed coconut oil, regular rice flour and semi
sweet chips as I didn't have the dark ones and it turned out amazing!
Place 1/2 in the pan, cover with a semi
sweet chip layer on top (with 10 x sugar) and the other 1/2 of of rice krispie / butterscotch layer.
I used Krisda stevia chocolate chips, so there is no additional sugar added, but you could also use regular
semi sweet chips.
I also use half and half of dark and regular Hershey's cocoa and half dark and semi
sweet chips.
; and, recently came across peppermint frosting - did that with choc cake & semi
sweet chips.
Each Hershey bar is 1.55 oz, so I would just use one bag of the semi
sweet chips, which is 10oz.
I made these they were okay i used natural Skippy peanut butter tossed in some dry roasted peanuts along with some bitter
sweet chips and semi sweet chips I will add some salt next time if I use natural peanut butter I rolled these in freezer wrap and froze over night and cut them in 1/2 inch slices they did not spread and I thought they looked perfect and they were loved at work
I followed suggestions and made a few add - ons of my own: 2 cups flour, 2 eggs, and using 1 cup white chips, 1 cup semi
sweet chips, 1/2 cup walnuts, 1 big tsp cinnamon, and...
I used semi
sweet chips and reduced the added sweetener to 1 TBSP.
