There are a lot of very deliciously tempting, densely
sweet fruits out there.

So I got
out the dehydrator and turned a bumper crop of
sweet, red
fruit into the tastiest dried tomato snackin» bites.
Roasting
fruit brings
out a golden
sweet flavor that makes you go back for seconds.
When I read the other reviews stating it tasted bad I thought I would be able to mix it with enough
fruit and
sweet things that it would wipe
out the bad taste.
I cleaned
out the crisper drawer in my fridge, choosing vegetables and

out to be honey -

They topped it off with basil apricot relish so there will be a sweetness to balance
out the mustard, and
sweet fruits like apple sauce are often paired with pork chops because they simply go really well together.
If you do change a few things make sure you keep that creamy / crunchy /
sweet / spicy / salty balance intact - like subbing another
fruit for the orange, but not leaving it
out entirely, or switching figs for dates.
Sub
out the raspberries for another
fruit, add in some
sweet dates, top with a little nut butter — the options are endless.
This recipe actually formed in my head as another
sweet breakfast option filled with luscious spring
fruits cooked down to bring
out their
sweet juices.
To make a breakfast cookie healthier (AKA: breakfast - friendly), white sugar is swapped
out with honey or maple syrup, white flour is replaced with whole wheat flour and / or oats, and veggies or dried
fruit are added in place of the chocolate chips (or another
sweet addition).
Whew, now that I'm past the denial stage... I will admit that I still like to enjoy
sweet treats on occasion which has led me to seek
out desserts and baked goods that are
fruit or stevia sweetened.
We often get excited to hear about a restaurant adding more vegan dessert options to the menu, only to find
out that it's a variation on sorbet or fresh
fruit, so it's exciting to hear that Leon is offering up not one, not two, but seven new
