The spices make them taste really festive, while the mix of

sweet and indulgent, which is great, as you don't want to spend Christmas feeling too healthy and a bit deprived!

I mashed a ripe banana, stuck it in a 2/3 measuring cup, and poured in
honey to the top (I use
honey because it's cheaper than maple
syrup), and then added a bit more
honey after tasting the batter to be sure it would be
sweet enough.
I was afraid of substituting whole
honey for maple (not the biggest
sweet tooth) and went with using a banana to substitute a big part of the maple
syrup and added a bit
honey.
Note: If using Amaretto, you can skip the
honey or maple
syrup, or just use less sweetener, as Amaretto is very
sweet.
In same food processor mix the

sweet treat in western india... readily available in Bombay / Mumbai... and also in indian stores here in the US... u can use jaggery... other kinds of sugar... or even some
