little honey).
For me it is a bit of
sweet with the seasonal berries and some of those leftover figs from your burrata experience, a bit of salty with some feta or goat cheese, those
little orange tomatoes that taste like candy, some kind of a mix of chia, buckwheat, flax
seeds, sunflower
seeds - just some grainy crunch.
Of course my purest friend Dr. Ben would recommend chewing on chia
seeds as the best chewable fiber, but sometimes I just need a
little something
sweet to get me through the rough patches and prevent me from grabbing some McInflammation in a mad hungry hypoglycemic rage.
Instead, from time to time have some unsweetened soy yogurt and mix it with
sweet fruits,
seeds (or nuts), oat bran or another good source of fibre, and add some raisins, dates, or a
little bit of raw honey.
Some of my favourite foods that have an affinity with the skin include leafy greens, avocado, lemon, coconut, extra virgin olive oil, organic blueberries, wild salmon,
sweet potato, pumpkin
seeds and a
little bit of dark chocolate.
