I'm going to buy more
sweet potatos & real
maple syrup today (instead of this sugar free flavoured
maple syrup) and give it another go..
I do not know if it is because I use agave syrup instead of
maple syrup but my brownies does not taste really
sweet, and they have a strong
sweet potato taste.
Perhaps you could try more
sweet potato and
maple syrup instead but I'm not too sure how these would turn out x
The
sweet potato gives the brownies such a lovely creamy texture (I couldnt find any
maple syrup so used rice nectar instead but still turned out well!)
Your
sweet potato brownies work with no
maple sirup too, they're most delicious, so I'm trying these ones now.

sweet potato skins, and 3 different hummus with
sweet potato sticks!
Maca, Chia, cacao,
sweet potatoes, dates,
maple syrup, bananas etc. pp don't grow in Europe.
Really sadly I don't think there is a replacement for the dates as they really stick the whole thing together, it may work to try making them with a little more
sweet potato and a little more
maple syrup but I can't promise anything as I haven't tried it!
I made these with oat flour instead of buckwheat, coconut nectar instead of
maple syrup and white
sweet potatoes instead of orange ones (only ones available where I was in South Africa) and they turned out DELICIOUS.
(That's based on 120g for
sweet potatoes, 75g for flour, 250g for dates, 40g for
maple syrup, and small / negligible amounts for the rest).
The second time I soaked the dates in boiling water to soften them and then I just used a blender stick to blend the dates with
sweet potato and
maple syrup (much easier than a processor) I also made a budget version and used regular cocoa powder, 1/2 honey 1/2
maple syrup, no pinenuts - just 1/2 cup of coconut flour and 1/2 cornflour, I also added chopped walnuts.
If anyone has trouble processing the dates and
sweet potatoes (my friend had this issue, couldn't get a smooth consistency at all), or if you wanted to make these but forgot to buy dates (happened to me)-- 1/2 cup liquid sweetener works great in place of the dates and
maple syrup in this recipe.
I bet
sweet potatoes would make a glorious Autumn ice cream — spiked with some
maple and spices.
1 cup cottage cheese 1 cup
sweet potato puree (or leftover mashed
sweet potatoes) 1 cup old fashioned oats 5 large eggs 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice 1 tablespoon

Add the purred
