This is the best crockpot soup recipe I've ever made, I made it as directed with the
pork — used a mix of
sweet and mild Italian
sausage.
I'm sure Italian
sausage (
sweet or hot, chicken or
pork) would work just as well in this recipe.
Stuffing variations: To make a heartier stuffing cook off 3/4 pound of either ground
pork or
sweet Italian
sausage (casings removed) and add it to the stuffing mixture before the final baking.
This yummy pizza casserole recipe utilizes spiralized
sweet potatoes in place of a traditional pasta or gluten - free pasta alongside bell peppers,
pork sausage, and tomatoes to pump up the nutritional value.
For this recipe, which incorporates the less time - consuming one, I use
sweet Italian
sausage removed from its casing rather than the more traditional combination of hand - cut beef and ground
pork shoulder.
A typical full day of eating for me looks like: Breakfast: Spinach, Mushroom, Onion and Tomato Frittata... sometimes with bacon or homemade

sweet potato or butternut squash Snack: apple with almond butter or a handful of macadamia nuts Dinner: A large salad with all kinds of raw veggies (cucumber, celery, carrots, cauliflower), avocado or olives, usually a lighter protein like grilled chicken breast, salmon or shrimp This would represent a full menu... I would say I hit this about 4 - 5 days a week, other days I may omit the snack or keep the snack and omit a meal, if i do that though I would add a bit of protein with it.
