After reading all the comments, I'm deffo going to make a batch of

Hi Rosemary, you really need a food processor
for the
brownies so make a really smooth mixture otherwise it can end up quite lumpy with
sweet potato chunks.
I personally prefer using it
for the
sweet potato brownie recipe as opposed to agave.
I think it's definitely worth a try and yes they would cook the same way, I think
for this recipe they would work absolutely fine but maybe not
for something like the
sweet potato brownies which requires that sticky sweetness of
sweet potatoes!

sweet potato for about 20 minutes until they are soft and bake the
brownies for 20 minutes.
When someone asked me
for the measurements in a comment I weighed the two medium
sweet potatoes I was using which came to 600g and made delicious
brownies!
