but as it turns out,
sweet potato pie is basically
just pumpkin
pie with
sweet potatoes instead of pumpkin.
Most times I
just stir it in water and chug it, but sometimes I mix up a bowl of room temperature canned organic pumpkin with pumpkin
pie spice, some Z -
sweet or Swerve, and a couple of Tbsp of Bob's Red Mill unmodified
potato starch.
When I do the spices for traditional pumpkin /
sweet potato bread or
pie, I don't pay attention to the measurements (for the spices) and kind of
just throw things together because I like it to have a strong flavor.
If I were you, I'd
just make a
sweet potato pie.
Did you happen to taste the mixture or even
just the
sweet potato itself before baking the
pie?

pie with lentils, vegetables, and a fluffy
sweet potato topping is
just delicious.

I made them last weekend, with steamed
sweet potatoes... I had
just steamed and frozen 6 organic
pie pumpkins and did not want to thaw a bag out so
just used the organic
sweet potatoes.
And after many, many attempts, I finally found a truly unique Weight Watchers Thanksgiving Recipe for
sweet potato pie that will please your eager taste buds, and has
just 4 Points per serving!!

pie too and it's infinitely better than
JUST pumpkin, haha!
