LOL I am thrilled that I don't have
any swine colored walls but we have our own challenges.
I enjoy seeing my rooms in black and white to blank out

We, too, have
the swine colored walls that must get a fresh coat of color.
And I don't think the «
swine colored walls» look bad at all!
But what's currently in my closet are rubbery wire shelves, puke brown carpet and icky dry flesh - colored a.k.a
swine colored walls.
I still get a kick out of
the swine colored walls... and sometimes I fret over them wondering how much swine I've allowed into my decor.

Remember where we started with the
swine -
colored walls, pink blinds and old carpet?
Besides the new
wall that was installed (more to come on that), we've painted the
swine -
colored walls and fireplace (Simply White Benjamin Moore), added some trim around the fireplace (to fill in big gaps between the brick and the drywall), removed the pink blinds (still thinking about what blinds we'd want down here) and installed the new Mohawk flooring.
I had been thinking of using the paint
color that you used to cover up the
swine walls and now I really am liking the new
color of paint that you chose to use in the family room area!!
I feel your pain since I have
swine colored tile all over my master bathroom — the floors,
walls, counter, ceiling, and the toilet.
We call them
swine around here because it's an amusing way for us to picture them, but there is nothing «uncool» about tan or pink or any other
color people might like for their
walls.
Once you get used to seeing
wall colors this way, you'll know why «
swine» can look good in certain lighting and «hog - rible» in others!
Along with the «
swine / hog» paint
colors elsewhere in some areas of the house, it just won't quite feel right to me until we get the
walls painted!

swine walls, because they just remind me of the
color of the under belly of a big.
Pay no attention the upper parts of the
wall that are still painted that awful
swine color.
We decided we were ready for a little refresh, and the things we wanted to tackle were the fluorescent light, the unfortunate and most embarrassing state of our laundry sink which you'll see at the end of this post, and of course the offensive fleshy
swine color painted on the
walls.
They were still the same dried out flesh
colored builder paint (a.k.a.
swine) that was originally on every single
wall in our entire house.
Though you didn't ask, I can see that last band of
swine being painted a darker shade of the
wall color.
When we bought our home, all the
walls were painted the same sad beige
color... not quite
swine, more like dust.
This is what the room looked like when we moved in,
swine walls (the lighting in this picture make the
walls look more tan but at many times of the day it was icky pinky flesh
colored), tan carpet I wasn't in love with, but great windows that let in a lot of light and a nice overall feel to the room with a higher peaked ceiling.
What a pretty
color, I know you're excited to see those

walls (I despise them probably as much as you did your
