The fits weren't great on me and I didn't love the style enough to keep trying different trench
coats, so I switched gears and started looking at anoraks when I came across this
swing style
from LOFT.

It's that hood that drew me so ardently to this
coat, as none of my other
swing coats have a hood that could help protect my hair and makeup
from rain or wind, obviously a top priority in pinup life.
And since Spring weather is very unpredictable, meaning the weather can change drastically
from one day to another (Hello allergies), while storing away, the heaviest and bulkiest
coats, sweaters, wools and boots etc... You should keep in mind that the weather can
swing from Still - Winter to almost - Summer temps.
However, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert wearing a neat grey

from 2011.
