Whole milk powder will
reduce syneresis but I never use it — if you don't like the whey that forms on the surface you can just pour it off.
Air entrainment must also be avoided, as air increases the risk
of syneresis in the product.

vitreous syneresis (change from semisolid to liquid) of the normal vitreous gel can be a degenerative change associated with aging.
