Centered around the 1920's glitz and glamour this wedding table is packed with cute personal cakes monogrammed with the bride and grooms initials, memories from their dating days, hat boxes, jewerly and lots of sparkle!

Marked by a 700 - page catalogue, Thursday's breakfast celebration climaxed with a food performance staged by daughter Jennifer Rubell, celebrating her parents» Don and Mera's 50th wedding anniversary, with them in formal dress at the centre of long tables seating revellers behind white - frosted wedding cakes that were spooned out to anyone up for a sugar rush.

I called them my cake tables, because they reminded me of stacked wedding cakes... there was a coffee table stacked as well, but I took that one apart not liking the stack on a rectangle

The big cake was the spotlight of the dining room table, but it also held a special place in our hearts because the cake maker, Kathy Allen, also made our wedding cakes.
