While not one of the most popular activities on the tablet, 22 % of tablet users report reading magazines of some kind on
their tablet at least weekly.
The error attributable to sampling that would be expected at the 95 % level of confidence is plus or minus 6.0 percentage points for the total sample of 300 tablet news users (who get news on
their tablet at least weekly).
The survey also looked more closely at the habits of those users who get news on
their tablets at least weekly (77 % of all tablet users).
Not exact matches
Most e-book readers who own
tablets say they read e-books on that device (78 %), with 44 % saying they do so
at least weekly.
News remains an important part of what people do on their mobile devices - 64 % of
tablet owners and 62 % of smartphone owners say they use the devices for news
at least weekly, tying news statistically with other popular activities such email and playing games on
tablets and behind only email on smartphones (not including talking on the phone).

The physical store is still the most frequent retail touch point, according to the PwC report Total Retail 2015: Retailers and the Age of Disruption, with 36 percent of consumers going to a physical store
at least weekly, compared with online via PC (20 percent),
tablet (10 percent) and mobile phone (11 percent).
