My OEM tach doesn't pick up this slight change so it looks steady there, but with my obd2 scan tool I can see it.

I can't believe that we are actually considering this, I'm not fond of all the holidays the schools take as it is, simply because it interferes with the
taching schedules, not for any religious reasons, that said, since when
do we care what the other countries believe their rights??

Unless you look at the
tach, you don't feel that the gears have shifted.
While the M3's normally aspirated, 414 - hp V - 8 packs explosive acceleration at higher revs — and in absolute terms it's significantly quicker — its comparatively modest 295 pounds - feet of torque means it doesn't get cooking until the
tach needle swings past 3,000 rpm.

do it way up in the useless part of the

There's power absolutely everywhere on the
tach, the direct - injected LT1 engine shining as brightly at low revs as it

do it, but you could also rationalize that this is one vehicle that makes the most of its motor.

did that with no wind or road noise and the
tach was hovering at about 2100 rpm.
Switching to «S» mode on the gear selector yielded no improvement off the line, but
did push up - shifts further up the
tach even while cruising.
The automatic transmission
did its part as well, its Sport mode hanging onto a gear even as the
tach needle blurred past the 5,000 rpm mark.
While peak torque
does come at the edge of the
tach, acceleration still manages to be linear.
Many modern cars have minimized the tachometer, or
done away with them altogether, but with the Camry Toyota keeps it old - school, providing a
tach as big as the speedometer.
During our manual - shifting tests, tapping the right side paddle produced a quick upshift, but we frequently didn't catch it in time, as the
tach needle quickly headed into redline territory.
