taco recipe for summer gatherings (made it for my birthday party a few years ago!).
This
taco recipe is still based on the potato
tacos from one of the Mexican restaurants in town, but we don't really go there as much anymore.
I have a whole arsenal of
recipe ideas
from my trip that I'll be sharing later on, but being out of the country and subsisting on guacamole, chips and
tacos for a whole week made me crave some of my favorites
from back home.
I chose to make the
taco meat
from this
recipe that I love
from Gourmet Magazine 2003.
I forget where I got the
recipe from, but its basically break up the tempeh into small pieces and fry it with some onion, garlic, and
taco seasoning.
There is also a chapter of beverage

taco party); and entertaining anecdotes
from the author.
