Not exact matches
Wenger lacks
tactical flexibility We've watched all the
games so far this season and we've witnessed Wenger on the sidelines
with no Plan B playing the same way; slow build ups to attacks from the start of the whistle till the end of the match which worked a few times and failed most times which has resulted in our dropping out of the title race and the Capital One Cup.
For the record and for now, I don't believe Wenger is the best man for the job any longer and even
with a Lewendowski I doubt he has the
tactical acumen and understanding of the modern
game to win us an other major trophy.
If Wenger can't be motivated enough to take some revenge on Mourinho, not even for the sake of the fans, after 12 losses... If his can ship 17 goals in 3
games against top level opposition and still continue
with a similar approach to
games, then I don't know what will ever really drive this guy to overhaul his
tactical approach to compete more fiercely against big teams...
obviously I would prefer to have a much more suitable alternative in the defensive midfielder positions but if they focused more on defensive end and the occasional long - ball, this would allow Bellerin and Sead ample opportunities to bomb forward on their respective wings while still having enough cover to maintain their defensive shape... it would likewise allow for overlapping runs on both wings, thereby letting both Sanchez and Perez to cut inside and get shots away in and around the top of the box
with their most dominant feet... if goals were needed I would sub Bellerin for OX and bring Ramsey in for Elneny then switch to a 3 -2-4-1 (more of a 3 -1-5-1
with Ramsey playing higher up the pitch) and I would only use Giroud as a sub when the
game dictated it for
tactical reasons... this would allow us to be a high energy team
with incredible link - up play and a much more direct approach in the offensive end
but obviously you're missing the point... If you're going to play the same formation 50
games in a row
with no altertations to your
tactical approach.
very much like a lot of the successful teams in the c / l these days they might not have the big names but they have a successful organized
game plan and passion, thats what gets them where they are at least, we need to be better organized in the c / l next season and go to teams
with a set
game plan and stick to that plan to see us through the hard
games wenger need to find his
tactical mojo for next season.
and for the major problem which is arsene wenger this man does nt even veiw his opposition let alone construct a
tactical plan for them wenger's football ideas are extinct and in all honesty we have a decnt squad, he have seen ferguson do better
with less so maybe wenger should bow out for some change because now all other clubs have to do is veiw the swansea
game and step up on it and they will cause arsenal problems.

with no
tactical input from me, I can't keep up
with these new managers and there ideas and I have been winging for a decade cus the board don't have the balls to sack me.
We proved at Everton in the hugely convincing 3 - 0 victory that we have it in the locker to control a

tactical weaknesses.

with the fact that the club did not strengthened the most problematic area in the team, DM and CBs; it has nothing to do
with the fact that players were played out of position; and it has nothing to do

tactical inability (for

game and make changes not waiting till the 70th min like we used to.players will have to prove them selves give 100 % and not be judged by a name tag either you perform or NOT.I'd like to see all our players given achance to prove them selves equally have afeeling about one lucas perez given a chance he'll flourish do nt understand why he has been isolated.but what do we know??

I agree
with you that AW has done some astounding things for the club, but he has also made some reall balls ups and week in week out it seems he is not able to offer up a
tactical plan B or utilise key players in key positions against the relevant sides we play, (not starting
with Rosicky and Walcott on Saturday was one such instance) I realise that no team wins all their
games and I know that we have been under the cosh for quiet a few years now, but what annoys me more than anything else is the lack of Visible ambition, we spent three weeks messing around
with Beliek and only just managed to get Paulista who was an uncertainty due to a work visa.

Kinda makes sense though, the only reason people are asking for another CDM is because we all fear the possibility of injury to coquelin and know flamini is usless, beilick is inexperienced so it begs the question what happens if an injury where to occur, but wîth how many midfielders we have in the squad i think it could allow us to change a
tactical approach and potentially experiment
with people like Ramsey and Wishere potentially playing a deeper role??? But the striker is a must as i mentioned earlier Giroud went 8
games without scoring a goal and none of the other strikers stepped up to the plate, we cant have a drought of goals when your the quest for titles...
Ramsey has had one good season for us since his horrible injury, he needlessly gives the ball away much too often and his finishing is even worse than Giroud's... once again we have fallen in love
with the idea of what could have been... Ramsey has only scored 2 meaningful goals in his entire Arsenal tenure: one in Turkey and the other in last year's FA Cup, which is not near enough to make him a centerpiece of this offence... likewise simply his presence on the team sheet has led Wenger into making horrible
tactical blunders because he will force Ramsey into the lineup even when it doesn't make sense... just think of all those
games when Ramsey was played out wide on the right, which forced the RB to come up into the play far more often, and deeper, because Ramsey invariably would find himself in a more central position leaving us far more vulnerable to the counterattack..

So this
game against West Brom is important because it will allow us to experiment
with different form of tactics (if Wenger does) i don't really care weather we win or not (ideally i'd prefer it if we did) but what i do care about is that we have a different
tactical approach than what we've had in recent
games (even if it means dropping people), because if we don't, all Villa have to do is park the bus and when possible lump it up to Benteke or when Arsenal commit too many men forward have Agbonglahor / Nzogbia / Sinclair / Grealish run against Metersacker (I'm not saying he is a bad defender, he is just not fast!!!!)
The
tactical genius of Wenger will almost outsmart any opposition but who needs tactics when you have Alex Iwobi the guy can win
games on his own and
