take action on notifications in the Notification Center itself.
The new notification design makes it easier to
take action on notifications.
You can pull down on that notification to expand them, where you can
take action on each notification one by one.
If you want to
take some action on that notification, you can activate Google Assistant by a long - press.
So if
you take an action on a notification from the lock screen, iOS will ask for a passcode, but won't unlock the device.
A swipe down from the home screen shows all your notifications, but
taking action on those notifications will require you to verify your ID with Touch ID or your passcode.
