Knowing we had a few rainy days ahead of us, Emma and I
took a long
walk yesterday and spent the
afternoon on North Avenue handling some errands.
We went there one Sunday
afternoon and enjoyed our
walk and
taking photos!

take a look around the gorgeous, vintage shops.
I
take the bus to work so it's built into my day but an
afternoon walk always reinvigorates me and gets me past the
afternoon slump.
Brett's family from Cincinnati were visiting and we
took them on long
walks all over our neighborhood and downtown.After a six mile
walk Sunday
afternoon, we were ready for dinner and drinks that night!
We are lucky enough to have a full - time nanny who keeps the kids during the day, though we're even luckier to be able to
take our daughter to ballet in the middle of the
afternoon, pick her up from school and

afternoon naps.
