childbirth education class, and practiced Bradley method relaxation for weeks at home with The Piano Man.
There is no denying it,
childbirth can
take a toll
on the human body.
Childbirth is exciting but it is also hard
on a mother's body and
takes time to recover from.

on her journey of unassisted
childbirth took just about all of the risk out of her decision.
Obstetric care
takes more of a medicalised approach to
childbirth and its popularity is based
on the cultural assumption that birth is dangerous unless closely medically managed, and that women do not have the capacity or inclination to birth without medical intervention.
Still, my mom breastfed her kids past six months in the eighties and did natural
childbirth, so when I am practicing extended nursing, cosleeping and baby wearing, I feel like I am just
taking the next steps down a path she started
on, and that helps, even when she doesn't understand why I would choose to nurse past age 2.

Although I didn't do the VBAC, thing I did have one of each, and I agree, natural is hands down better and
on top of that I felt I actually did something to earn my precious baby, C - section is not something I'd recommend to anyone and it
took me a long time to get over the disappointment and knowing that I would never experience the joy of
childbirth again, anyway, I digress, the pics are gorgeous and I can't wait to see them used in some layouts, I hope the girls are enjoying their new baby brother and I have no doubt he will be brought up with three mothers!

An injury is only considered claimable if the doctor operating
on the mother and the baby is found negligent of
taking necessary steps during
childbirth.
