The full course
takes 4 - 5 days and includes academic, confined
water practices and
open water diving.
Take your first steps into the world of scuba
diving with everything from PADI
Open Water Courses through to Rescue Diver Qualifications and even amazing live - aboard packages on the Outer Barrier Reef at some exclusive dive moorings.
Usually an
Open Water course costs between $ 300 - $ 500 which, in a paradise like Gili Trawangan,
takes 3 - 4 days of
diving and learning.
Young people can
take the full PADI
Open Water Diver scuba certification course and upon completion will become Junior
Open Water Divers with certain age limitations for scuba
diving:
If you find that you would like to
take your
diving interest a little further, the DSD programme earns you credit towards your PADI
Open Water Diver certification.
Once you learn the basic
diving exercises you will be
taken to a reef where you will experiment your first
open water dive.

Diving Center said they are
opening up a location at the West Bay soon so you may not have to
take a

Advanced
Open Water Diver course
takes you one step closer to Master Scuba Diver — the ultimate non professional certification in recreational
diving.
The PADI
Open Water Diver course usually
takes three days as your first adventure in
diving.
If you wish to

open water referral courses.
You can continue the
diving adventure and build your dive skills by
taking the PADI Adventure Diver course or PADI Advanced

diving and to give you extra depth to
take photos.
Once you've become an Enriched Air Diver you may wish to

take part in the Advanced
Open Water course to show you other forms of
diving and to introduce you to other types of equipment.
After

diving confidence.

Such activities include all activities other than PADI
Open Water Diver or Scuba Diver courses, or Discover Scuba
Diving activities that allow participants to
take part without a license.
To make the most of your scuba
diving vacation and to extend your training you may wish to
take your PADI Advanced
Open Water Diver license during your trip.
I love
diving so I can only recommend trying it:) However, if you are not certified and have not dived before, you will have to
take a Discover Scuba package (or the
Open Water Certification if you want to dive again later!)
The months went by and the more people I was meeting, everyone was talking about
diving so I
took my courage in both hands and did my
Open Water course in a little village close to Belize.
