Now I need to get my butt in gear and start
taking outfit post here in Maryland.
It's definitely not a spur of the moment decision to
take an outfit post.
During the day a blogger could be running to multiple shows, scrambling to squeeze through the crowds to snap those coveted photos for coverage for their blogs,
taking outfit posts, hailing down cabs, grabbing the subway to make it to the many events or meetings each day brings and much more.
And
I take outfit posts all the time in change rooms haha, sometimes I forgot to turn my phone to silent and there's a loud «click» sound when i take it..
My good friend Maureen and I met at Stanley with the intentions of
taking our outfit posts (yes, a guest appearance will be happening shortly!)
I would have told you if you had asked me I love culottes but I haven't
taken any outfit post yet too haha.
The blizzard that hit our area a week ago put me somewhat out of commission for
taking outfit posts but we got lucky with 50 degree weather this past Sunday.

It comes at a time when it's claimed that Enrique and the La Liga
outfit are planning a parting of ways at the end of the season, as per the Star, despite the level of success that he has enjoyed since
taking up the
post.

take every
outfit to another level, and as I mentioned in my last teddy coat

Now I'm always doing something blog related, even on the weekends (
take outfit photos, prepare my Sunday email, edit photos for Monday's
post, weekend Instagram
posts, etc).
Welcome to another edition of Friday Afternoon — where I
take a break from
outfit posts to share about other areas of my life.
Although don't think this is the last you've seen of our red garage door — in true scientist fashion, I plotted out a few blog
posts over the next month and studiously planned my
outfits and
took photos in advance.
There were a LOT of
outfit posts I shared through those months that I only wore for the time it
took to
take photos.
I bet you'll see most of these items coming up in new blog
posts because I am planning on
taking some
outfit photos as well.
As you guys have probably noticed, every week or so Catherine and I like to
take a look at our recent
outfits, insta - stories and blog
posts and look for the inevitable patterns that develop.
Of course over the years I've adopted the method of
taking four sets of
outfit photos over the weekend and switching one
post a week to a non
outfit.
An average blog
post takes about an hour to
take, but an
outfit post will
take much longer.
Anyways, this is a pretty exciting blog
post because I have another giveaway for you... But first, let's
take a look at this
outfit, which I've been loving lately!

It snowed in New York this past weekend, so of course I had to

take a look back and share with you some of my favorite Gold Coast Girl
outfit posts from the year.
How many cute
outfits & shots was I * not * able to capture or
post because 1) no one was there to
take a picture of me and 2) I couldn't
take my eyes off my kid: /
It looks like trench coat is the new trend, i used it in my
outfit post of Monday,

My highlight was clearly tracking down some of the best street art in LA (thanks to Studio DIY's «Wall Crawl»
post) to
take outfit photos in front of it (I mean come on, who doesn't think that's fun:p) haha!
If its an
outfit post, the cumulative time of
taking pictures, editing them and writing the
post takes me about 2 hours.
The flip side of all this, of course, is the argument that if you've gone to the trouble of creating a website,
taking a photo of your
outfit, and then
posting it publicly, you must be implying that you consider this particular
outfit to be exemplary.
I don't
take many
outfit posts but when I do I use a remote and tripod.
While I was home in New England I had my sister
take some photos for me and this is the first of a few
outfit posts I will be sharing from Christmas in MA!
Ok so this
outfit has now
taken over your last
post I bloody love it, that SKIRT!
And I loved that the blog
post showed how to
take a simple dress and layer it up to create six different
outfits!
I was trying to do a «two ways to wear»
post this vest but I
took too many pictures in each
outfit and it needs to be two separate
posts (look for it in my next
post — you can subscribe by email to make sure you never miss a
post).
Tina of @tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com linked up an adorable
post on how she
took a half vacation day off from work to relax by getting a one hour massage and pedicure, while including her cute work
outfit and vintage accessories.
I do this thing where I
take photos with my phone of potential
outfit post locations.
On the 6th of each month I run a special
post called «The 6 Remix» where I
take 6 pieces and mix them into 6 different
outfits or I
take 1 piece and style it 6 ways.
