talk about routines with them too and get their help with designing new routines.
It may be too late to
talk about routines in home room or master calendars, but here are a few questions to consider before starting the next school year (after all, ethical ELA is more about questions than answers):

talking about routines help to make them part of your baby's life.

You can
talk about how much fun your travel was, but now it's time to get back to the normal
