When I had dinner with my publisher last spring in San Francisco,
we talked about cookbooks, of course.
I'm
talking about cookbooks from 30, 40 and 50 years ago.
I met her at a national meeting for dietitians and
we talked about her cookbook dream then.
I remember my friend's mother
talking about this cookbook about 15 years ago, saying it was the ONE cookbook that she prized above all her others.
Not exact matches
If someone told me for 30 years that cookies exist but were never able to provide one and said they were made from ingredients that they also could not provide and only had a
cookbook that was thousands of years old that
talked about these cookies, I would question whither they actually existed, or if they were like many things from other «
cookbooks» of that same time that had been shown to be most likely made up.
I also had some new potatoes from my gardening friends and decided to use them in this creamy parsnip soup from the beautiful
cookbook Small Plates and Sweet Treats by Aran Goyoaga, which I want to
talk about more in the next post.

about their family traditions, and I incorporated Colombian, Venezuelan, Peruvian, Brazilian, Argentinean, and Cuban dishes into our regular diet.
Some of my close friends will be at SXSW... Jeff and Marla Sarris (I've
talked about them on my blog quite a bit — cooking dates, Marla wrote a Paleo
cookbook, and Jeff designed my blog).
