The studies that I found on google scholar that
talk about omega 6 inflammatory response and the ratio of Omega 6/3 actually recommended a 2 - 3:1 not 1:1 ratio, also they were very clear not to decrease omega 6 intake but rather increase omega 3 intake because the studies showed that rather than omega 6 causing
inflammation omega 3 reduced
inflammation because the studies were done on people with autoimmune diseases or cancer, not an otherwise healthy person.
