I was thinking this the other day, when a lot of the Facebook executives get on Twitter and feel victim - y, they're doing their victim - y dance right now a lot of the time, and at one point, Boz, Bosworth, when he said, «Maybe people will die,» that memo, and instead of being like, «Oh
god, we really have to be more mature about this,» their
thing was, «We can't
talk now.»
Atheists have beliefs that there is no
God, perhaps no one can convince them otherwise, but my
thing is, why
talk so much about something if it does not exist?
I mean, a philosopher or scientist can
talk about any of the
things Christians
talk bout without using the «wrapper» (transcendence,
god, truth, love, etc.), which begs the question, why
talk about these
things through Christianity at all?
For some reason I can make
God speak in any voice I want, and he's always saying
things like «I'm not
God, this is just your split personality
talking» and «Seriously.
Close, but it's more fun to have them start

God IS NOT THE SAME
THING as turning the last pages in one's mental family scrapbook.
I didn't need to
talk about
God, or about religion... I had assurance in my faith about those
things, and I assumed the chaplin understood them and didn't need me to explain them.
Many times
things simply are what they are — in this case, people may not be
talking about their
god (s) because they really do not believe, or they have
things more important
things to
talk about.
When I
talk to
God in prayer, I am
talking to something deep within the fabric of my own being and asking for a better way, a better idea, and intuitive thought rather than to have some trivial
thing of substance delivered to me on a platter.
Buddhism (in its true form) provides a guide to the elimination of suffering, not deity worship; in fact never
talks about
God or
gods in the sense the west does... FYI Buddha was born 630 years before Jesus, and it is proven that Buddhism traveled from eastern India all the way to Syria and the Middle East via the Silk Road... i am quite sure Jesus had heard some of his teachings... some of the

When you're

gods and little folk how can anyone ever prove that they were never real?
