Paintings are hung salon - style, wedged in, given attenuated spaces and little bins, or installed near the top of
tall walls meant only for showing the work of Richard Serra.
With its ivy - covered brick
walls and 45 - foot trees, the hotel's private park is
meant to be a refuge from the busy New York streets, but it also features some surreal items - 500 - gallon watering cans and a 30 - foot
tall pitchfork.
