A simple
tap of a button brings up your garage and from there you can choose something to match one of the events displayed or, should you fancy driving something else, you can pick anything that takes your fancy from your collection and the event list will change to match your chosen ride, although this face isn't exactly advertised by the game which is a little strange.

The mini-map is placed on a corner
of the screen so it's always available, the scanner can be
brought up with a touch
of a
button and controlled with an analog stick, the inventory is a
button tap away, etc..
Taking away the instruments, the multiplayer and the focus on achieving professional musicianship that the series previously strove for, Blitz
brings things back to the old days
of Frequency where it was just you
tapping a couple
of simple
buttons to the beat.
Tapping shoulder

of options in battle.
It's clear that these are direct ports
of the Wii U games,
bringing across the touch controls that were added to the mix for those who wanted to

One only need look to the home
button to discover that the fabled simplicity
of iOS is long - gone: when the phone is asleep, double - clicking the home
button opens Apple Pay; when awake, the same action opens the multitasking view;

of the screen.
There's now a small icon next to the update
button that will
bring up the «What's new» section
of an app when you
tap on it.
Holding it one - handed, while resting my little finger on the base
of the device, I can do most things easily enough, especially when using the two -
taps - on - the home -
button Reachability mode to
bring the top
of the screen down to within your thumb's reach.
