Here we are, with another season up on us and with it - another issue
of Taproot out in the world!
COLLEGE PARK, MARYLAND — Food Recovery Network is pleased to announce it has received a Program Services grant from
Taproot Foundation.
I often look at
Taproot on the newsstand, but, alas, the price is prohibitive for me at this time in my life.
The weekend was so full of goodness - a busy Saturday in our Portland
Taproot Market, followed by Picnic, a crafty holiday extravaganza.
However, it also states that the
deepest taproot of community among us is not a Summum Malum that forces fearful, self - interested men and women into the social contract but a Summum Bonum that breaks and limits the hold of fear upon us and invites us into the covenant of undaunted, self - expending love.
I am hoping to visit as many
Taproot stockists as I can, and all those wonderful Northwest contributors we have, and readers too!
And with this issue out the door begins a very full and busy season behind the scenes
at Taproot, as we prepare for a few days at the Common Ground Fair (will we see you there?)

I am mindful of not blathering on all so very much here
about Taproot as I know you don't come here for just that, but the work and our new space has been what's filling my moments when I'm not on the college search / fiddle lessons / homeschooling / dance classes / theater rehearsals / farming duties.
I'm writing to you now because I managed to weave around a few trees to make it into the
Portland Taproot office today, since we're on deadline for the next issue (though, I think that's getting pushed back just a bit, because... life!).
Palace, who just so happens to be a
new Taproot stockist, was a total treat for my eyes, and a danger to my wallet with all of their good offerings and gorgeously curated selections.
The kids can fact check themselves and, of course, Catholicism is quickly shown to be highly illogical and marbled with contradictions and silly, childish claims, down to its
very taproot.
Today I had hoped to get quite a few hours of
Taproot work in, and thought I might do a thorough clean of Annabel's bedroom and dresser, maybe start on a new dress for her, and get dinner ready for their arrival home.
And while I'm chatting all
things Taproot today, I'm so excited to tell you that we're headed West soon!

In 2012, I partnered with the folks behind Nova Natural to create a new quarterly, ad - free print magazine
called Taproot: Living Fully, Digging Deeper.
The preshow music — Gilbert and Sullivan — sets the tone for
Taproot Theatre's production of Oscar Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan: a bit stylized, with just a light scent of campy parody wafting through the drawing room.
That test saw the newspaper receive more than 700 bitcoin donations over a 24 - hour trial period in support of the
non-profit Taproot foundation, which offers pro-bono service work to organisations tackling social problems.
Over the past few years, since we
started Taproot, I've taken the same drive to Vermont many, many times.
In fact in August 2012, Dentsu had also acquired a 51 percent stake in Mumbai - based Indian advertising agency,
Taproot India.
I'm dismantling lies, exposing the darkness to the light of the truth, uprooting the weeds with
long taproots in my way of thinking.
The great

And as is our tradition, we've put together our
annual Taproot Holiday Pop Up shop collection of handmade and artisan goods!
I'm thrilled to be hosting our first

How fitting that we slide right on into the work of our
next Taproot issue, FOLK, now.

I've just started planning a trip for next month to the Newport Folk Festival,
where Taproot will be having a booth.
