The next time you
spoon honey into your cup of
tea, think outside the mug and try using it in a main dish or side.
I prepared this slightly differently, opting to gently melt a hunk butter in a pan along with a splash of oil, good sprinkle of cumin, bit of cayenne, rosemary, salt, pepper and a few
tea spoons of
honey.
I use about 1 cup no sugar vanilla almond milk, a heaping scoop vanilla Vega One, scoop of matcha green
tea, a
spoon of cinnamon,
spoon of good
honey,
spoon of almond butter, 1/3 cup pre cooked steel cut oats, blend, then add another cup almond milk and puree with 1 cup frozen berries and 1 frozen (peel before freezing) ripe organic banana.
Added sugars are anything sweet put into a food for flavor, from the sugar in store - bought ketchup to the
honey you
spoon into your
tea.
This, of course, made for another irritable day where I would then be more than likely to just finish off any left over binge food or just go straight for my raw
honey jar with a dedicated
spoon (and no
tea mug).
What I do is take a mug, fill it half with milk, then pour it into the pan, add two cloves, coconut oil, teaspoon of turmeric powder, black pepper, ginger powder and half of
tea spoon of brown sugar /
honey / diet sugar, and allow the mix to boil.
