Cuomo's Common Core Overhaul: A task force created by Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a report Thursday which found that the state made a number of mistakes
in its implementation of Common Core learning standards and recommended reducing the tendency to «teach to a test,» giving shorter tests, and not linking test

in 2009, just over a year before these
results were measured.
As a parent, she said she likes getting feedback from tests, but using student tests

Virtually everyone also agrees that New York's
teacher evaluation system is not accurate and is skewed
in its construction to provide favorable
results for
