a teacher support intervention, was developed by C - SAIL researchers, represents a bold effort to bring standards - based reform to the classroom door, providing teachers with detailed feedback about their instruction in order to improve instructional alignment with standards and raise student achievement.

teachers; or (c) was non-structured, such as an informal
support group or unstructured home visits.
It is proven that
interventions led by qualified
teachers are more effective than those led by
support staff.
Conference is aware that: (i)
teachers are increasingly leaving state - funded schools before they reach retirement; (ii) unrealistic targets, workload, league tables, micro-management and inspection are some of the barriers to
teacher retention and (iii) governments»
interventions to
support and retain the existing teaching workforce have been inadequate.

A committee made of
support services staff and regular classroom

We have lots of tools and resources to help with the creation and implementation of Tier I PBIS classroom and schoolwide behavior plans that promote student success, as well as resources to
