It's important to remember that not
all teachers are at the same level of comfort with giving over this time to the students.

levels, nor will they all think alike.
There
's a nice analogy here to education, since

level, coaches and
teachers are trying to do the

These schools give

same subject a shared preparation period each day to plan lessons, discuss strategies, and work collaboratively.
Some
teachers are less than enthusiastic about the plan to periodically have all classes

And, just as important, we aren't able to have as much
teacher collaboration
at all grade
levels as other public schools housed in the
same building.
The
teacher must recognize that as a consequence students will
be placed for instruction with other students

same achievement
level, not necessarily with those of the
same age.
