One thought... in the last bit about safe lifting technique you mention that «We don't
need to worry about # 3 and # 4 (our load IS close to the body and hopefully nobody is keeping the feet together)...» but I find that in yoga classes a LOT of time either a
teacher has specifically asked
students to stand with their feet together
or students think it is correct / necessary to do so.
A mug might not be the perfect gift for your
teacher but I know many
teachers who
need coffee
or tea to get them through the day and who proudly sport a mug one of their
students gifted to them for a similar reason.

need you in their room to help with a challenging
student,
or to be a thought partner on a topic they are presenting to the rest of the staff.
The third thing is that I
need to spend time trying to explain what I have just taught to the few
students who openly admit they don't understand it.It isn't an ideal method of learning (from either the
