teaching artists and classroom teachers are committed to expanding the role the arts play in classrooms.

Today, the
artist teaches both drawing and painting while continuing to show his work in
group and solo shows and expand his base of collectors.
From 1973 to 1988 and 1994 to 2000, he
taught at Goldsmiths College in London where he was a powerful influence on a
group of students who later became known as the Young British
Artists (YBAs), including Gary Hume, Sarah Lucas, and Damien Hirst.
A graduate of Otis College of Art and Design, she is also an alumni associated with the first
group of graduates to begin
teaching within the Artist, Community, and Teaching

I'm particularly excited about this edition because Susan Hiller will be
teaching a master class at Zabludowicz Collection in London, where leading international
artists advise a small
group of emerging
artists about their practices.
In 2017, Miner hung solo exhibitions in Ontario and at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit,
taught a course on ecology at Ox - bow School of Art and
Artists» Residency, published an
artist's book with Issue Press, and exhibited in
group shows in Norway, Ireland, Canada, and the US.
Following a summer's
teaching job and her first
group show in a non-profit space in Denver, she and her family moved to Los Angeles in late 1972, where she has remained, working as an
artist, ever since.
During the decade in which he
taught at Corsham, Scott made frequent trips to Cornwall and became good friends with many of the St Ives

artists and the abstract paintings and sculpture created by a

Young
artists will develop a portfolio of artwork while building technical skills through weekly
group instruction, led by
teaching artists, that explore different mediums, techniques and tools for art making.
McKay and Louchhead, who were later to receive national recognition as members of the REGINA FIVE
group of painters, saw the potential of the Emma Lake site and its facilities to offer summer workshops for practising
artists as a means of breaking from the artistic isolation they felt in Regina, where both
taught at the School of Art.

This unassuming ambiguous object resonated not just with Wiley and Nauman, but also with a whole range of Bay Area

teach a workshop and it was well received, and within a couple months, • for the first time, a gallery is representing me and my artwork!!
