Permit me to preface my remarks by saying that I do not wish to take a
position on the thorny doctrinal question whether we know that some (unknown) persons will be damned, although I take it for granted» as do von Balthasar and Neuhaus» that Catholic theology does not hold or
teach that we know all will be saved, a proposition it is unlikely even the optimistic Origen affirmed
with certainty, and is surely difficult to square
with Jesus» repeated

Alfred Neumann in Six of Them tells of a German professor of law who continued
teaching in the early days of the Hitler regime, lecturing on justice
with pointed reference to its subversion in the Nazi state.36 When fired from his
position, the professor, his wife, and a loyal band of students publish secretly copies of his lectures and other material attacking the injustices of the regime.
The Ofqual requirement to
teach Catholicism in the context of the beliefs and practices of other Christian denominations further undermines the presentation of Catholic

with secular society against the Catholic

positions must first deal
with the ecclesiological question.

with the process (8) Make a list of all that were harmed by me (9) make amends to such folks except whn to do so would injure them or myself (10) take a daily inventory of my day, checking for snafus, mean temperment, arrogance etc (11) meditation and prayer to communicate to my higher power and quiet reflection to listen for the Truth (12) after having a spiritual awakening as a result of working these steps, help others if they wish for help because now I am in the
position to assist.
I do not understand why Protestant theologians [including Barth] are so afraid of the New Testament
position when the New Testament
teaches only, this much about the «interim condition»: (1) that it exists, (2) that it already signifies union
with Christ [this because of the Holy Spirit]-RRB-.
The fact that different schools of thought have come to different conclusions after reading the same bible does nt seem to register
with many christians who effectively hold to the
position «My doctrine is what the bible
