The Alberta Spay / Neuter Task Force (ASNTF) is a dedicated and compassionate

A.P.E.'s

of healing and humanity coalesced into today's PAW
Team as one by one,
veterinarians, certified veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, groomers,
volunteers, supporters and donors stepped forward to offer free vet exams, vaccinations, spay / neuter and other surgical services, prescription medicine, food and supplies to the companion animals
of those in need.
25 dogs and 5 cats received free veterinary care from a
team of 5
veterinarians, 4 veterinary technicians, 3 veterinary students and other dedicated
volunteers.
We work with a fantastic
team of veterinarians, behaviorists, trainers, groomers, and
volunteers to make sure that our dogs are ready for adoption, and go to the right family.
The animals were assessed by a
team of veterinarians in an unprecedented timeframe with the assistance
of staff and
volunteers from The HSUS and from local organizations, including The Humane Society
of South Mississippi.

With the help
of this grant, the
veterinarian team,
volunteers who washed the dogs in medical baths, foster parents, the shelter
team, community well - wishers and adopters, we were able to take twelve dogs from awful circumstances to wellness and in their forever homes in just over two months.
The rescue
team ultimately included a Santa Barbara
veterinarian who specializes in marine mammals, Marine Mammal Center scientists from Sausalito and lots
of San Luis Obispo County
volunteers, including Gary Angeles and his two kayaks.
