Recently, a research
team from Denmark performed a large population - based and register - based prospective
cohort study to shed further light on this compelling issue.13 Researchers included only singleton births in a 10 - year period, and excluded conditions associated with an increased risk of ASDs (eg, congenital rubella syndrome or some genetic disorders in parents).
