If we start this season with those two
in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing has changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one of these players should still be with our club at this point because they represent the settling half - measures that have plagued this
team for a number of years... this is what I call the «no man's land» of the soccer world, where
teams don't have enough talented young players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once had... furthermore, when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management
team becomes little more than a stagnant group of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead of developing a
team with the qualities necessary to excel
in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases year after year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard of a

work for a
team of any consequence ever again

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... You are just been intentionally argumentative, Klopp inherited a squad that he had to
work with, if the Wenger we have now fund himself
in the same
position that
team will be looking at a relegation scrap, if you fail to recognise the impact the Klop appointment is having on Liverpoo l based purely on their league standing them I have to admit i have been giving you more credit sense wise than you deserve when you make comments.!
I think the stoke chelsea game was great because it showed 2 good
teams working hard, staying
in position, but one had the talent
in the final third.
Can you blame Sanchez for not passing the ball to WIDEBECK, lately this man is never
in position, WHY because he is defending and running all over the place, the clumsy GIROUD let's face it, he is better than WIDEBECK and
works better for our
team game, but far from being a surgical finisher.
Just standing
in the # 10
position each game while leaving all the hard
work to your
team mates is
in the past.
I would like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is
in my mind.We need to reinforce our
team but we need to think
in the future that most of the high class players are going to refuse signing for arsenal fc because of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It looks like arsenal becomes cemetery of players. How many players came
in and left because of performance, became good players out of arsenal. We need to accept all of the transformation Mr wenger brings
in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack of tactics, strategies and pretending best players for Mr wenger mind but
in reality those players do not get standard of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that players who are calling by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter
in good
position or bad.He is wrong by thinking this way.He does not like criticism.he is the mind of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think about morrinho comments about arsenal!!!! Why he likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say about arsenal players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind players who play two good games and the rest shameless. They are
working hard
in the training ground for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them play; what is behind their (players) mind to be the most regular players. Those players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish
in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the big behind their mind to use wenger name to be selected
in national
team. They are not able to face different leagues
in the world.
Sanchez (LW) Campbell — What Wenger is probably going to go for Gibbs (LW) Sanchez (RW)-- This got us the goal against Spurs and balances the
team well... Campbell (LW) Sanchez (RW)-- This could
work but I really don't see it happening Sanchez (LW) Ozil (RW)-- This allows Cazorla to be
in a more goal scoring
position as CAM.
The guy kept our season afloat for the first 4 months with his goals, scored the goal to secure UCL group stages, scored both semi-final goals to take us to FA cup final, is the club's top scorer, has been involved
in more goals + assists than anyone
in the PL, scored more goals than the media's fave Costa from a deeper, wider
position, plays every second of every game as if it was his last, is always smiling, helped instill a hungrier
work ethic
in the
team — all
in a first season.
Wilshr is at best a squad player, he is not good enough
in any
position to be a first
team player for Arsenal. He might be if he
works hard and improve his style of play but he is the player who is a part of the
team that is fifth actually
in the PL.
Stronger defensively wenger has tried to integrate the 4 -14-1 tactics
in certain games this
works well against those
team who like to play with an ATt mid but it didn't offer much support to the wide men as there starting
positions was very deep.
Nwakali is a forward or wing player, nothing like kante and Ramsey is a squad player for me not first
team quality, if Carzola is fit, him and xhaka would be a mouth watering fit but with Arsenals Injurie luck this seems inlikely but i wounder if the five at the back would
work if we play a stubborn
team that defends, i hope Arsene would change the formation
in such games back to 4 -2-3-1 but this would require a proper rght wing which we havent had
in years, we've had OX, Campell, Wallcot, Iwobi, Ramsey, Welbeck and Ozil play
in that
position and non of them have made it their own like sanchez has with the left wing
If Giroud would have taken penalties instead of Cazorla then he could have had more goals than Costa... Also many of his goals were easier tap
ins with terrible defense
positioning helping him whereas
in PL you would have to
work very hard against some
teams like saints, eagles, clarets, etc...
We didn't need a manager this season if we're just gonna put out the same players that come 5th anyone could of done what wenger is doing it's easy I buy lacazette then put he same
team out from the same squad even when I have injuries it's easy just put out the rest of the squad and play them out of
position I mean I'd take 8mil to do that oxlade at lwb kolansinac at cb elneny cm holding rcb there's no
work of a manager there just put
in players were others ain't ready to play then buy nobody else and do interviews with the same excuses job done next game change some ppl around but same ppl that came 5th then sell Alexis do interviews same excuses job done transfer window closes fans wish they never supported arsenal wenger laughing to the bank job done
Wenger put ozil on the wing for his development one thing i do nt get is how the fans do nt see that Wenger done the same process with Wilshere, I remember when Monreal was caught out at the back post from a set piece and ozil did nt cover he just jogged abit n let monreal get beat, that would be video evidence for Ozil to learn and
work on his duty to defend instead of giving him Candy like a baby n letting him be lazy
in the middle not tracking back for the
team its a learning process im 100 % Wenger knows ozils best
position is
in the centre he followed him since Shalke its obvious but Wenger develops players into world class after seeing Ozil
in the world cup and coming back after the world cup i coud see he defended alot more helping out monreal on the flanks and putting
in alot more effort only then once hes showed his duty
in defending will he be given his free role
in the middle.
So long as the SEC and Pac - 12 are producing the top two
teams in the Playoff, the plan to put the top seed
in an advantageous
position works.
Listen its simple as ABC i remember the man utd match as soon as we moved Ramsey top his best
position the match changed for us and we were
in the driving seat yet peeps will deny.Ozil and Cazorla i am still thinking of how any other manager will put them
in the same
team, and it will
work long term. This is not right. From what you are saying too we might as well sell Ramsey to a top
team which will play him
in his
position and i also expect him to be less i njury prone and eventually becoming world class. Its so simple this thing i can tell you will not
work forever yet keep denying.Ozil and Cazorla
in the same
team a big no.I want Cazorla
in his best
position and that is no 10.
Tactics, Players
in their natural
positions, Subs @ 60 mins, THIS Was all we asked from our Coach, he did it and here are the results... We always knew we had good Players we just needed the leadership to make the
team work.
I agree with you that AW has done some astounding things for the club, but he has also made some reall balls ups and week
in week out it seems he is not able to offer up a tactical plan B or utilise key players
in key
positions against the relevant sides we play, (not starting with Rosicky and Walcott on Saturday was one such instance) I realise that no
team wins all their games and I know that we have been under the cosh for quiet a few years now, but what annoys me more than anything else is the lack of Visible ambition, we spent three weeks messing around with Beliek and only just managed to get Paulista who was an uncertainty due to a
work visa.
When I said ev is more sensible some guy said man city is more Barca than Barca, Now you guys should appreciate ev, pep would never coach a
team that was
in Barcelona's condition, I know pep spends hell and leaves a
team in a very good
position for the future, but pep can't
work with what he has, he went trophies less
in his first season with man city, he would be disgraced
in his third season and leave as usual (no offence to pep he is my all time favourite coach) and I would take him back
in a heartbeat but I would not sack ev for him.
Against the Devils, they go right back into the
position of being the
team that's supposed to win the series, and we know how well that's
worked for them
in the past.
Off topic anyone notice how ozil was used on the left wing last season and the first part of this season and he was under performing fans and pundits were all saying how wenger should build the
team around ozil since that was his best
position and he cost us 42m well since his return he has only played either cam or right wing (he said
in a interview that those were his fav
positions since he played them at real) taking the place of an
in form cazorla and it all seems to
work I think wenger has done this all on purpose because if u look at ozils overall performance after his injury its much better than before, he tackles, wins the ball back and covers more distance than anyone else wenger does this often using players out of
position for a while only to make their overall game better and mostly it
works genius
It makes little to no sense and it means Bellerin has to
work FAR harder for the
team than need be.Ox is a class player and should not be on the bench to facilitate other players who are not as good
in his
position.
I believe the boss is sort of building a new Arsenal
team as he is playing his players
in different
positions to see if it will
work out.
we have become so reliant upon one individual to run the whole operation that our once relevant scouting department has become so stagnant that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once... when this occurs the management
team, who by this juncture is little more than a congregation of spefically chosen «yes» men, making it incredibly difficult for new ideas to emerge and / or transfers / contract renegotiations to be dealt with
in a timely and effective manner... so instead of developing a
team with the qualities necessary to excel
in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard of a
team who plays players out of
position so often... of course not because that manager would likely be fired and never
work for a
team of any consequence ever again
Qualities: Giroud - Hold up (but not against top defenders Tery, Cahil, etc), short pass, hard
working,
team player, defensive duties (set - pieces), injuries Benteke - Hold up, short pass, better dribbler, long shots, finishing,
positioning, defensive duties (set - pieces), can play with his back to the goal and also drop deep and face the goal when marked weakness: Giroud - very slow, easily marked, poor finishing (not wc finisher), technique Benteke - injuries, not a hard worker If you look the stats for the since 2012/2013, they have almost similar records except that Benteke scored like total of 19 goals (correct me if I'm wrong)
in his 1st season and also have a decent record against top
teams, keep
in mind he plays for AstonVilla not Arsenal where you get much more chances and better players around.
I'd like wenger to be bold and try this after all having per
in the
team at the moment is not
working and wenger seems more than happy to tinker and mess around with the mf and frobtu
positions.
Given the low value of a locker room attendant, some will speculate that the league's focus on him is merely the result of needing a fall guy, or that a
team or player would specifically use someone
in such an expendable
position to do their dirty
work in order to maintain plausible deniability.
Dombrowski wasn't an analytics guy
in the past, but much of that had to do with the
teams he
worked for, too: he entered into a new
position at the head of one of baseball's largest analytics departments, and he not only kept it that way, but added to it.
According to Diario Gol, Barcelona will make a move for Griezmann next summer with his release clause standing at $ 100m, and they are said to have a way of
working round Messi's potential problem as he doesn't want to see Luis Suarez's
position in the
team sacrificed to make space for the Frenchman.
Just trust wenger, Hes probably playing ozil on the wings to teach him
in the premier league you have to defend as a
team its not like germany where u can afford to be lazy or real madrid where you only have 3
teams to compete against, putting him on the wings and then watching the match back viewing how he plays not covering or tracking back will show him
in plain sight that he needs to
work harder, when he proves hes fighting for every ball im sure he will get put back
in the middle cause you need to defend whatever
position you play and i think letting him have the middle will spoil him not teaching him to trackback.
Joe Hakimian knows how to
work the waiver wire and
in the spring he made some fantastic adjustments to put his squad
in a
position to be the last
team standing.
