There are so many knee jerkers on this forum it's laughable.Spurs were better than us today.Accept it.We
played the same way
against Man
City we won, Wenger is a genius. We

Wenger said earlier this week that he would definitely be aiming to create history in the FA Cup, but he still made a fair amount of changes ahead of the tie

City instead?

Big in your list I can agree that all these players would improve us, but let's look at our CB At the moment Kos, top player but is struggling with a inj which may or may not heal, at the moment he isn't match fit so not up to his own high standard, so needs help or a defender of his quality so he can go and recover properly So then we have Mert, too slow and no longer good enough, I'm not sure if he's even good enough for 3 rd choice CB, too slow, poor on the air for his size and not brave enough, he's lasted this long due to Kos he needs a Top class CB just to allow him to
play against average
teams Ok now Reid not top class we can all agree so we couldn't really
play him with MERT as he isn't Kos quality so can't cover merits deficiencys He could be ok with Kos but Kos is struggling So is Reid what we need???? And finally Wenger if he has all 3 fit will still
play Kos / Mert first choice Oh and God forbid we
play MERT / Reid
against the top
teams like Chels /
city / utd / Southampton Chuckle chuckle

this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his game then we could have a great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a great player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving players
against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a
team player you could put him on the left
against man
city to shore up that side and he will put in a great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left
against city to protect the left back
against navas and i bet you if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league with this lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might
play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at
city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but
teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all

exactly my point, we arsenal fans are so retarded that we think having lacazette on the bench is bad, but if it's manchester
city everyone will say it's quality in squad depth, we always criticise mourinho for
playing defensive football but want simeone to come and be our coach, someone who can not attack
against a
team as weak as leganes or alaves.

team played as a unit and fought hard and this is a very good sign because have lost these kind of physical games in past like

city but we deservedly won the game and now hoping for chelse to lose or atleast a draw and a draw between manchester clubs...
It used to be the same whenever we
played United, such mentality is the reason Southampton and Stoke haven't lost to us on their ground in over two years, it's the same mentality that allows
teams to thrash us every season, 6 - 0
against Chelsea, 6 - 3
against City, 6 - 1
against Liverpool, this season Southampton 4 - 0, doesn't ring a bell??

City, Utd, Barcelona and Munich's, We will be up

play City.

City after being in the lead.

play for.

teams that will be challenging for the title this season.
I completely agree that a tweak is needed
against the big
teams but i think we saw it in the

A 4 -3-3 system is favoured by Barca, Real Madrid and Man
City and Bayern, the top four
teams in Europe. It suits the attacking philosophy of Arsene Wenger which is to his credit.Unfortunately we do not have the top quality defenders these
teams have nor a dominant DM.Nevertheless it is the best system for our current
team which is top heavy in attacking midfielders hence the need to
play Ozil and Mik in wide positions. In my opinion the most balanced central midfield would consist of Elneny, Ramsay and Wilshere.Elneny was first class
against Watford yet was left out
against an average Milan side to accommodate the ever present Xhaka who will no doubt feature
against CSK.
If we spend 50 - 60 millions in this 2 players we will be able to win the EPL and give hard time to Barca plus looking into the future to have a
team ready to fight
against City for seasons to come... dear gooners, all the best players will want to
play for PEP and then they will dominate EPL for years to come plus the so called middle table
teams will get harder to beat..

negatives -LRB--)-- terrible result — wengers
team selection (arteta + ozil in particular)-- generally poor work - rate across the pitch and nothing like the backbone we showed
against man
city — handing dortmund initiative to top the group (we all know what finishing 2nd means)-- lack of hunger + desire — welbeck misses — still no joel campbell (who in my personal opinion is a big game / stage player)-- in all our «set - piece» training we totally forgot about the bread and butter of football which is making an impact in open
play
