To see if it's sodium loss, try putting a quarter
teaspoon of salt in a glass of water and drink it.
For this experiment, I use 1.5
teaspoons of salt for half a pound of red cabbage (this contains about 3 % of the salt content).
1 teaspoon each baking powder and cinnamon, a half teaspoon each of baking soda, nutmeg and cloves, and a
quarter teaspoon of salt.
Give the child a drink made with 6 level teaspoons of sugar and 1/2
level teaspoon of salt dissolved in 1 litre of clean water.

You also can prepare saline drops at home with this recipe from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI): In a clean jar, mix 3

After it had simmered about an 1 1/2 I tasted the meat and didn't have lot of flavor so I added
