Then too, while the word «act» as a
philosophical technical term refers primarily, as I have indicated, to the «doing,» «moving,» «working,» of an entity which has the inherent power and is the spring or source of that «doing» or «moving,» the word is readily used in an abstract sense, and also derivatively as pertaining to other than these entities.
