technological advances we've witnessed
over past decades — your cell phone has more processing power than NASA's computers had during the moon landings — it's not a huge
leap to imagine that such simulations will eventually encompass intelligent life.
Much in the same vein as the problem with the automatic, these
technological leaps come at the expense of temperamental equipment that
over time is more likely to malfunction.
I don't expect a huge
leap over whats out now though, unless there is some
technological breakthrough.
