The evolution
of technology though has provided smart solutions like distance learning, where a student doesn't
need to be present in the classroom and can learn from
teachers who live in different parts
of the country by using online learning environments or distributed course materials.
Teachers who aren't familiar with more exotic
technology like Photoshop and video editing needn't worry; they can still teach 21st century skills to their students by requiring them to create Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint documents, embed photos, credit sources with hyperlinks, and wade through a variety
of Internet sites with a critical eye.

teachers and
technology experts, as well as administrators, who determine what topics we
need to provide training for.

technology and pedagogy necessary to fully realise the potential
of Digital Technologies and ultimately thrive in a world where mobile devices have become ubiquitous.
Digital learning offers the potential for more cost - effective use
of taxpayer funds for education, Finn observes, as the influence
of good
teachers can grow exponentially through
technology, and students can customize the learning process to fit their
needs.
The study was not clear as to whether «content and skills» related to
teachers learning how to use and implement new

of scale in providing many things schools
need, from finding
teachers and developing new ways to use

Funders may
need to be more deliberate by creating a robust entity that has the sole job
of coordinating across the entire geographic cluster to make sure that system leaders, principals and other school leaders, blended learning directors,
teachers, and education
technology companies have frequent opportunities to network and spend time with each other learning and building in a deliberate way on each other's successes and setbacks.
Many
teachers find themselves being asked to assume these roles that include, for example, running a new
teacher induction program, convening professional development with
teachers, advising on
technology, or consulting with
teachers on assisting and evaluating
teachers in
need of improvement.
In other words, provide funding for
teachers successful in using
technology to either work full - time or part - time assisting other
teachers who want to use
technology, but
need training handholding, or just an extra set
of hands, ears, and eyes while students do a project.»
What they know is that
technology is threatening to low - performing
teachers, that it is threatening to jobs — and that its innovations
need to be resisted, however much they might actually improve the management and operation
of California's public schools.
In order for us to succeed at preparing students for jobs in the economy
of the future, we are going to
need technology to help us better utilize the critical resource
of our
