Every once in awhile, allow or encourage your
teen to take a day off to rest,
catch up on sleep or studies and give their body a break — they've earned it!
A well - rested
teen athlete is able to fall asleep within 20 minutes of getting in bed,
sleeps through the night, awakens easily at the wake -
up time, and does not usually need to
sleep in
on weekends (i.e., does not need to
catch up on sleep since they are well rested every night).
