It's a biopic
about modern dance pioneer Loie Fuller that follows her from her days as a
teenager living with her French father in the American Midwest to her journey to France, where her unusual dance style, utilizing silks and colored lights to help create arresting visual displays, made her the toast of the town during the days of La Belle Epoque and the mentor and eventual
rival of Isadora Duncan (Depp).
