around the corner and with the Arsenal shareholder Lord Harris having helpfully
told the world that the
club is sitting on cash reserves of something like # 200 million in the bank, Arsene Wenger is concerned that the price of any player he is interested in will suddenly go up, as explained in a Daily Mail report.
«How Arsenal respond this summer will be crucial» Admin, please save this article because you will need it next year this time
around... This kind of articles are there for long 11 seasons (summers) and the specialist is here doing what his ego
tells him to do... I say no, this time ALL fans should stand together and demand more, put more pressure on the board and the manger... This
club is a top
club and is not a 4th grade anymore... All those who are in UK should do something (protests, show banners, chants, boycott, whatever)... I know there are still fans who support Wenger, but you also should demand more from Wenger, I assume you are discontent with the results and the transfer policy... Doing nothing, our 4th - place trophy is not even guaranteed...
There has to be a fan revolt at this
club for things to turn
around or i'm
telling you it will be very slow progress, chelsea / utd / city will only improve this summer so i hope we do the same.
with his attitude as if we have to be his servant, get back to Chilie and get those life values back, he is a football player, but a man first, and as a player and man, his all attitude sucks, i don't know why wenger kept him and take that shit, means we have to take it... I
told yo before, get his ass on training camp, ruining all day, shut him up, keep him out of the squad, not even in bench to bring his laim superior attitude... All money he is making, he should think of Chilie street and reality for kids he was once... He is in a great city, a
club that won in this league and would be in CL as every year without this type of laim ways... So, of course no one wants him
around during that ceremony, not even in the room... Get real sanchez, you came from misery, benched for years by gardiola too, sell out, poor minded..
«I'm delighted and excited to be taking the job and hopefully I can share that enthusiasm and excitement out
around the
club,» Appleton
told the

around the
club that can

However, I would be very surprised to find out that this was the case with the Chile international star Alexis Sanchez, because the talk of a possible move has been going on all summer but now appears to be over, so why would he choose and open training session in front of
around 5,000 Arsenal fans to kiss the crest on his shirt and basically
tell us all that he loves the
club and is going to stay, as reported by The Telegraph.
Not much positive to be honest (one positive is Iwobi, and the other is Wenger benching Walcott and Giroud so far)... We have big ambitions for this
club that why we need to get real... You are happy with 4th, you yourself has to go and support Westham (obviously their ambition this season which fits you perfectly) instead of

telling his 32 - year old stopper that the identity of his next
club would not be an issue and that Chelsea would not stand in his way of joining a Premier League rival as long as the transfer fee, thought to be
around # 10 million, was met.
just reading
around and all if not most rags are saying our net spend is # 46 million how can they
tell that when they do nt even know what our real budget is if it was # 100 million then we are in profit by quite a bit i do nt really know what they base there assumptions on this is where you could do with swiss ramble to dissect what really was spent from what i could see most of our 5 transfers were covered by out goings and c / l monies earned debuchy - vela deal, chambers - vermalen deal, ospina - cesc and miquel deals sanchez c / l monies and other monies recovered from wages and old installment based deals this is the same with welbeck i would imagine if not then poldolski will be sold in jan to cover this as i think he was going to be sold and this would have covered welbecks transfer more or less also and people do nt always realize that arsenal have money coming in from more than one source to cover transfers not just puma and emirates deals we have property arm of the
club which makes money for transfers also outstanding debts we are owed of old transfers we receive each year on song cesc maybe van persie and all other structured deals in installment payments sales we just flogged miquel as an example and all the monies from released wages and youths sold its a bit to complex to just say we have a net spend of xyz when arsenal do nt even make the budget public so they have no starting point from which to go from i bet you we have broke even or even made a slight profit as we are self sustaining it would make sense that we can break even or at least make the net spend under # 10 million each year at least screw then all we are the arsenal we do thing our way
there is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments in the formative years of his managerial career at Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this
club... there have been numerous managers at each of the biggest
clubs in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns than ours yet somehow and someway each were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy of their respective
clubs... of course that doesn't mean that
clubs should simply follow the lead of others, especially if
clubs of note have become too reactionary when it comes to issues of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting of parameters for a changing of the guard... in the case of Arsenal, this sort of discourse was largely stifled when the higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar too low... it reminds me of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then does a complete about face when the market is lean and vacancies are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they of course feel cheated but there is little they can do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more about profitability than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong fans of a football
club it's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they, in most cases we have been
around far longer than them... so how does one deal with such an untenable situation... do you simply shut - up and hope for the best, do you place the best interests of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them, do you run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately changed, do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence, do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could be worse or do you stand up for what you believe in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber of your being
tells you that something is rotten in the state of Denmark

clubs in the Premier League and
around Europe seem to be able to track down these shy and elusive creatures called professional footballers.

around the

Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former
club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this
club... regardless of those who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally, to
tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase in our
club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change in the way it conducts business both on and off the pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier
club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act on Friday evening, as it stands, this
club is more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of others to secure our place in the top 4, we need to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship
around... just look at the current state of our squad, none of our world class players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the worst
clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one of our greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!
