Researchers in China, along with colleagues in the US, have developed a new catalyst that shows outstanding hydrogen - production activity and stability in the low -
temperature aqueous phase reforming of methanol (APRM).
«If the decomposition of the methane hydrate
phase is fast enough, which depends on
temperature, the methane gas in the
aqueous phase forms nanobubbles,» said Saman Alavi, one of the lead researchers on the project.
