Term life insurance is designed for
temporary coverage without any of the special features that come with some permanent life plans.

When the
temporary need is replaced by a permanent one, this is an ideal way of keeping insurance
coverage without having to qualify for it again.
Usually, for example, you would be able to get policies with or
without temporary accommodations
coverage as you wished when you purchased the policy and that decision would govern what the insurance company on the risk would have to pay for when a claim was made by the insured.
What that means for you is at the end of your term period or age 75, whichever comes first, you will have the options to convert the
temporary coverage to a permanent life insurance policy
without proof of insurability.

If you are caught operating a vehicle
without the proper insurance
coverage, you may lose your license plate and be given a
temporary plate that allows you three days to remedy the situation, or your vehicle may be impounded.
While I still advise caution against lapsing an old policy and putting all your
coverage at risk in new underwriting, but if you are
without coverage or needing additional
coverage quickly as happens in business sometimes, definitely consider using
temporary insurance.
