Ugh, I was getting into transitioning into fall
with my wardrobe and then we catapulted back into summer
temps (and
humidity, noooo) this past week.
It's usually hot and humid here in the North during the summer months, but
temps have been steadily in the 70's
with little to no
humidity.
Post Dailey Method I ran some errands during the hot summer morning and even then
with high
humidity and
temps I was still cool!
Since the
temps have been pretty much hanging out in the 90's now
with lots of
humidity, this post could not have come at a better time.
Unfortunately, so had summer, which in Virginia can mean
temps in the high 90s
with matching
humidity.

People have reported very minimal condensation even at 80 %

I would point to TSI, OHC, sea level,

temps, Sea Ice, nothing is good enough for either side except the highly adjusted surface
temps from GISS and not even they fully support the models and appear to conflict
with other measurements!!
Southeastern New Mexico,
with lots of huge pecan orchards in middle of the desert, would be a good starting point, assuming that there is any decent long - term historical data on
humidity and air
temp.

with me in New Orleans next month and enjoy our August weather, where nighttime
temps routinely stay above the mid 80s
with 90 % +
humidity.
And, of course, you're stating a strawman in the first place, climate models help
with the understanding of various details of climatology, but the basic understanding that CO2 is a GHG, that warming
temps increases the absolute
humidity leading to a positive feedback, etc etc would stand even if the complex climate models you disparage didn't exist.
I haven't seen the «calm night / windy night» paper but I'm a bit of a fan of worst papers; here are 2 recent contenders; the first is predicting future
temp increases of 25 F
with increased
humidity, the wet - bulb temperature:

Living in the South, it is hard to think about Fall right now

humidity, but
with my garden harvest in full swing, I know that Fall is just around the corner.
I'm sitting on my lovely screened porch surround by stacks of furniture
with temps in the 80's & the
humidity making it a bit uncomfortable... I guess fall will have to wait a little longer at my house.
